Receive a user ticket that there are certain sales order type without data were not found in a report using table S709.
Solution:
Investigation found that there was a mismatched of the Sales Order and Item Category for the field Statistics group for the item category.
Correction was done on the configuration and the data was now populated in table S709 - Sales Order Item Detail (T-code: MCSI).

Logistics Information System (LIS) -> Logistics Data Warehouse -> Updating - Updating Control ->
Settings: Sales
-> Assign Statistics Groups for each Sales Document Type
-> Assign Statistics Groups for each Sales Document Item Type
