Service Notification

Service notifications are used to create and manage customer notifications in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service. There are predefined notification types like customer notification, service request, and activity report. Users can also define their own notification types.

Service notifications can be entered directly into the SAP system by the customer or by the customer service department. They include data like object and partner data, problem and damage data, and execution data.

A service notification consists of a notification header and one or more items. The header contains information to identify and manage the notification, while the items provide detailed data about the problem or activity performed.
