How to restrict the conversion of planned order to
production order when material does not have BOM?
Suggestion 1: Yes, it is possible through availability check, in OPJK in checking control at the time of production order creation, set no creation of order if materials are missing in collective conversion. Your problem will be solved. Or use enhancement PPCO0012
Suggestion 2: In T-code OPJK In business transaction 1, you will get collective conversion - in here you need to select no creation if materials missing. This option controls whether a planned order can be converted
to a production order if one or more material components are not available.
Suggestion 3: In case of BOM missing you can stop the Conversion of Plan order to Production order by 2 ways. 1) During the Planned order to Production order / Conversion system consider the attached Routing/Recipe and BOM to the production version and include them to the order. So if during this conversion system doesn't find BOM then it will saw below Massage No suitable BOM alternative could be determined Message no. CO398 You can change this massage to error massage. 2) By using user Exit, PPCO0006 Enhancement to predefine fields in order header PPCO0021 Enhancement for Order Release PPCO0007 Exit when saving production order
Suggestion 4: You can solved this by making the component field mandatory in tcode "SHD0". |
