Is it possible to track changes to inspection results.
When a result has been entered and no ud has been made. Results can be
changed by opening the lock and changing the result. But where to find
the change log for this? Does this exist in SAP QM?
Solution: In the MIC there's a control indicator called RR change docs. If this is activated you'll get Change docs created. When in result recording you'll find it in the menu :
Extras -> Change history.
What is the Master Inspection Characteristic (MIC)? Answer: Inspection characteristics Defines what is to be inspected and how the inspection is to take place. An inspection characteristic contains specifications for the inspection and for recording the results. There are qualitative characteristics (such as, "Product color") and quantitative characteristics (such as, "material density"). Inspection characteristics are subordinate to the inspection operation. Master Inspection Characteristic Inspection characteristic that is intended for frequent use in inspection plans, or for evaluation across all inspection plans. Master inspection characteristics facilitate and standardize inspection planning to a considerable extent. An additional advantage in using master inspection characteristics is that they are language-independent. When creating an inspection plan, you can access data in the inspection characteristic master record. It is actually the part of QM. But during integration with PM for calibration process, these are being used by both modules. You can create it by T-code QS21. There you mention the class characteristics. Don't forget to release the status of it. In control indicators tick sampling procedure, if you want to use (otherwise it will give error later). In the task list operation view, bottom side there is one button called insp. char. Click this and assign the MIC and sampling procedure as well. Notes: We can create Master inspection characteristics through QS21 t code: Mainly it will come under the Quality Management. We will use in Plant maintenance mainly in calibration inspections etc. procurement of critical or imported spares. MIC's will be created against the plant. These characters will be used in Quality Inspection Plan. These will be linked to Material/ equipment/ function location etc. Types of MICs are Qualitative and Quantitative - Control indicator will play good role while executing the MIC's. - Before you create MICs, you need to have catalogs, code ,code groups and selector sets too. |
