Course Overview

This course aims to provide all the employees in your company working with Product Data, the basic information they require to carry out their day-to-day work with the PDM module. It is assumed here that you are using SAP R/3 4.x, the CAD system AutoCAD 14.01, and AutoCAD SAP R/3 3.1 on Windows NT 4.0. The scenario PDM - Product Data Management semi-finished and finished products without variants of the R/3 reference model is dealt with here. The user is provided with an example of implementing the product development process with change management using the SAP R/3 PDM module, AutoCAD, and AutoCAD SAP R/3 PDM. The emphasis here is placed on familiarizing the user with system functions within the framework of a business process.
