• Enter a personal password to log on and start an R/3 session, and select the appropriate menu item to log off the system.

 
• Describe the structure of an R/3 screen.

 
• Control the system, display information from the system, and to use the screen's entry and display fields.

 
• Use the mouse or your keyboard to control the R/3 System, and execute R/3 functions by executing mouse clicks on a toolbar or by using function keys.

• Execute transactions by working in a dialogue with the system.

 
• Understand dialogue messages that point out errors or ask you to check entries for accuracy.

 
• Work in parallel with several applications.

 
• Access and use the R/3 Help System, Reference Library and Extended Help.

 
• Use a matchcode as a Help tool to allow you to search for information already saved in the R/3 System.

 
• Use special functions to execute the same procedures multiple times, handle various data, print data from the system, and automatically transfer large volumes of data into the R/3 System.
