If it is defined like inbound delivery then you can't do GR for that. Check in the customizing for the movement type 101 is defined for warehouse activity like creation of transfer order. There are two ways of posting GR in WM : 1) With ref to PO you create inbound delivery then with ref to inbound delivery you create transfer order & confirm the transfer order which completes the warehouse activity & stock is available in the warehouse for unrestricted use. 2) With ref to PO you post GR then with ref to Material document create Transfer order then confirm the transfer order which completes the warehouse activity & stock is available for unrestricted use. Check also customizing in : SPRO-IMG-Logistics Execution-Warehouse

path Interfaces-Inventory Management-Define Movement Types. For transfer
order creation.
VL31N Error Message: Delivery not yet completely processed in decentralized whse system. Ensure that your Plant and Storage location has been assigned to the Warehouse number. Create the Transfer order (LT03) and if Confirmation is required then Confirm it (LT12). Then you go for PGI, in change mode of Delivery (VL02N). In case of inbound delivery: 1) In PO confirmation control Key should be DIR which means that Goods receipt will be posted only through inbound delivery. 2) Create inbound delivery by using T-code VL31N, and mention Vendor, PO number. External delivery number should be unique. 3) Create TO wrt Inbound delivery by using the following path. Easy access--> LE--> Goods receipt--> Inbound delivery--> Create TO wrt inbound delivery
