No Plant-Specific Data Exists

When entering the material master, user get the following warning message:

No plant-specific data exists
Message No. M3245

User mention that all the views were created and was puzzle about the warning message.

They also found that during Sales Order creation, the system was unable to determined the auto default storage location.

Solution:

The way to get rid of this error is to take an warning free material and compare side by side and check what fields were missing.

I suspect that some field maybe missing during the material creation although all views were created.

I target those views with the word Plant first and indeed the Shipping data section was missing in the Sales: General/Plant view.

Once created, the warning was gone and the Sales Order storage location was able to auto default correctly.

Normally, it is quite straight forward as the 2 Plant data / stor. 1 and 2 were missing and we just need to create them.
