How can I get action box configured to show "Request
Customer Report" in new notification type?
Check IMG: SPRO -> Quality Management -> Quality Notifications -> Notification Processing -> Additional Notification Functions -> Define Action Box -> Define Functions for the Action Box Check here "Request Customer Report" is there or not.
Question: Action Box component - Create Quality Notification We have configured the Service Notifications to create a Quality Notification from the Action Box of the Service Notification. The problem is that although this works perfectly in our sandbox environment, it will not work in the TEST environment, despite identical configuration and user authorizations. I'm wondering if there is something on a Basis or technical side that affects how the Function Module (QM06_FM_TASK_CREATE_QM_NOTIFIC) or the associated background Workflow Task (TS20000304) operate that could be different between a Sandbox and a TEST environment, or is there something else I need to learn about using FM’s? Answer: There was an issue with the Workflow customizing that prevented the automatic creation of the Notifications from the Action Box. Once the Workflow customizing was properly set, everything will work perfectly even to the point of executing all the previously unsuccessful attempts sitting in a buffer or a queue somewhere. Run the SWU3 Workflow verification to check for errors. This function module uses the workflow runtime system. In the IMG "Maintain Standard settings for SAP Business Workflow" (SWU3) the upper half has to be OK (RFC settings, WF- BATCH user & job etc.). |
